danjessen davidwalshblog I think I agree in general, with some caveats: - 5950X is sold out everywhere, the perf is better, but maybe not waiting ???? months for supply to restock - DDR4 3200 is the fastest OFFICIALLY supported by 3950X/5950X so anything higher could (maybe) be unstable.Permalink On twitter.com

danjessen davidwalshblog - The 3970X Threadripper has significantly better multi-core performance (plus more cache and higher memory bandwidth), and I'm hedging that games will start to be able to take advantage of more cores in the near-ish future. I could definitely be wrong about that, though.On twitter.com
