        Drove to this road to see the view today... It had fallen off the side of the mountain. It's a neighborhood. The houses are around $5,000,000.

      I want to be clear here that the implication is not "rich people's houses should not slide away" it is that "no one's house should slide away" and paying $5,000,000 only to have your house later slide away seems like an extremely obviously bad thing.

    Unrelated: I got an "avocado dip" today. I expected it to be roughly guacamole-esque. It was extremely avocado halves. When I "dipped" my chips that came with it into the halves of the avocados, they just broke. Why don't Californians love themselves at all?
