I have long claimed that every app of non-trivial size needs a Message Bus to communicate efficiently across disparate sub-apps, components, and more. For what it's worth, this is not a new idea. It's actually a very old idea that has aged well with time. I think it's new-ish to GitLab, though 😃On twitter.com
