ErichRahm People tend to have consistent core character. Having opinions that vary from that consistent core character is fine, but it's worth noting that you don't agree with a person's core character when you sometimes agree with their opinions.

ErichRahm Which is the main thing here: it's _worth noting_ that I don't agree with virtually any of Peterson's core character, ethical principles, or even his sense of moral right and wrong. I do agree with this one opinion.

ErichRahm Repeating someone's statements without this kind of clause gives them leverage in people's minds. It's risky to even retweet him because he has so many really bad intellectual ideas, but if I'm going to, the least I can do is say "this is maybe the only good thing he's ever said"
