      phikai Official VS Code. I "like" tweaking and configuring, but when it comes to something like my code editor, my main concern is something that works exactly how I want and gets entirely out of my way. I haven't tried the OSS versions, but the typical story is they need babying.

    phikai One of my complaints about VS Code is that it does NOT stay out of my way. It really wants to be front and center in my workflow, and it's very frustrating.
