      _atjn I think a more interesting proposal would be to allow browsers to run other kinds of code. Google tried with Dart, but maybe a browser vendor could choose to support .ts natively. It's fundamentally a different paradigm, so if it's so important to the web, support both!

    _atjn Basically: rather than try to make ES everything, to everyone, allow for a typed paradigm and a dynamic paradigm. (and whatever else people decide is important)
