    1. Some people just randomly decided that the rendering modality of Ruby on Rails is "front end" and now forever I have to deal with this stuff. I am begging you to come have a look at what actual front end work is so you can understand why this is not a skill I have.

    I think the unspoken secret is that even Ruby on Rails people don't want to deal with the "front end" stuff that RoR puts out, so they decided to tell us that it's part of our job.
