    justinfagnani Infinity isn't a rational number, so you can't construct an equation for it using rational numbers. Assuming an identical definition for infinity, the only actual result is "undefined" (you'll never be able to finish any calculation).

      justinfagnani You could also define infinity with other sets, like R = "all rational numbers" (an infinite number), or I = "all integers" (an infinite number, but there are infinitely more rational numbers). Then you could theoretically say that R-I = infinity.
