    1. Many years ago, I tried to read Clean Code. It was abhorrent to me even then (younger, more impressionable). It was internally inconsistent even between two sequential pages. It suggests optimizing for every single wrong choice at every turn. 1/

    I was often supportive of Agile (and the Agile Manifesto). Since then, I've realized everything about The Agile Manifesto is built on a bad understanding of programming and software. My opinion hasn't changed at all on Clean Code. 2/

          I didn't even spot the obvious irony until just now: the police kill 1000 people every year! Martin can't even see that funding the police IS putting thousands of lives at risk - currently, now, as we speak. The internal inconsistency continues, because it's part of the brain.
