    To some, it sounds like he's just a war criminal dealing with PTSD by shouting at people who look like the military (that these goons are probably NOT the military but look like it is itself a whole other troubling topic). /2

        Just like these folks, he had orders. Just like these folks, he followed them. Just like these folks, he violated the human rights of other human beings. Just like these folks, he was (maybe) convinced that he was doing this to protect the country. /4

          This veteran knows that the things he did were atrocities, and frankly the whole world does too. That he's walking around now, not in jail, means the United States government sanctioned those acts, required them, even. /5

            What this veteran is trying to communicate to these people is that there's no good excuse for violating the constitution, violating people's intrinsic human rights, or occupying cities because of largely peaceful protests. /6

              That he was pepper-sprayed for shouting is the cherry on top of his message. It doesn't matter if they have orders from their government. What they're doing is wrong. Unfortunately, I think it's hard for the folks goosestepping down the street to hear his message. /7
