davatron5000 Thanks for addressing privilege at the end. I think the kinds of problems you encountered are the result of a largely Mac monoculture in dev, which creates a vicious, self-reinforcing cycle where things don't work in Windows, so users go to Mac, so things don't work in Windows...On twitter.com
