    kerrizor nsiivola Basically, yes! Every lookup on a given object starts local (in case you've edited it) but then works it's way backward through the prototype chain to try to find the thing you want to use.

      kerrizor nsiivola (by the way, some people might try to tell you JavaScript has classes now, and they're wrong 😅 we have the class and extends keywords, but they're syntax sugar on top of prototype inheritance)
