  1. I sometimes see folks referring to imports in JavaScript files as a negative like "Ah, there will be another import, too bad." No. Your imports are your APPLICATION'S DEPENDENCY GRAPH. These should be as explicit as possible, without aliases or shorthands.

      If you don't like how unwieldy or long your dependency graph is, consider that it's not something to obscure with abstractions, but rather to fix with better application architecture.
