I've now been present for every stage of the garbage piling by grifters, and I think I can say with strong confidence that there is no way to avoid it. There are zero external incentives to create simple software that lasts the gauntlet of time.

We either burn this down now or we suffer the inevitable consequences of vast capital driving every single decision across every aspect of our society. Can you imagine a world where pump and dump crypto grifters are the same people deciding whether a car should run you over?

What about one where some white dude pulling down $230,000 because he created the largest Webpack file known to man is the one deciding the order you get put into the water supply lottery?
