Businesses be like "We know it's a huge expense for you to come in and it's a huge expense for us to have a place for you to come in to, but if we save a bunch of money not having an office, it's only fair that you also take a cut to save us a bunch more money." abcnews/1438208579014590466

Pretty telling that no big news companies are publishing stories like "Capitalism is completely out of control, how can we stop this disaster?" They're all publishing shit like "people want to go back to office actually" and "workers should be happy to even have a job honestly."

This is not even close to the best we can do and our "journalists" are failing badly, too. It's looking dire af out there.

Sorry, this is the OTHER ABC, not the Disney one (it's the Australian one) and frankly that makes it substantially worse. You can't even point to a for-profit incentive to explain leading articles like this it's just wildly missing the mark for free.

And before you're like "the article seems fair to me." No. No. It's not. It includes such gems as "numerous advantages to at-home work". When somebody cuts off your fingers, them letting you have your fingers back is not an advantage, it's getting back to a shitty baseline.

This article fundamentally assumes that companies are entitled to your body in a location and the entire premise springs from that bunk.
