      Like, last week. I opened that folder last week. This is not a divide between "modern" and "outdated", it's a divide between children who have been trained to be thoughtless, incurious consumers and people who want to know how things work, take control, and understand.

    This isn't necessarily younger generations' fault. There's a vested corporate interest in keeping people ignorant and uninterested in the "how" and "why". It's not surprising that all the examples of apps are from giant corporations who...

      - of COURSE - want you to just type your every desire into a search field and then trust them to give you the result you want. But the positioning of "old" versus "new" is incorrect, this is knower versus consumer.
