I sometimes slip up in fast conversation, but if you have this much time to think about it, you had the time to go "alright I'm going to say 'they' instead of he." Also - and this is addressed by other commenters, too - but if you want to encourage a new server, you GO TO THE NEW SERVER and say "hey, this is a tough job, thank you for being here, it'll get easier in some ways soon!" You don't go to some other person...Permalink On twitter.com
