      1. Hoooo boy. I tweeted this when I was merely aware of some proximate use of virtual scrolling. Now that I've had to actually interact with code that's running inside a virtual scroller... DO NOT USE VIRTUAL SCROLLING. It creates nightmare bugs and completely breaks the browser. rockerest/1188889011814690817

    Virtual Scrolling is an abdication of responsibility for THE JOB (build a web app). It's an admission that "whoopsie we built an app that doesn't work on our target platform." It's says, "we're just going to break our target platform instead of trying to fix all this."

      And - like most things in modern web development - it's a balloon loan with an insurmountable interest rate. You will never pay this debt off until you have a massive influx of cash. If your company knew these terms going in, they would NEVER agree.
