    1. This type of shit is why I remove labels from bottles before recycling, cut off labels from shipping boxes before recycling, etc. (couldn't find it, but one example of sticker removal is Panera's take-out bag seals. Says "Remove sticker, then destination: recycle")

      Basically: companies try to make you think they're environmentally friendly and - BY GOLLY - it's YOUR fault the world is polluted, but when it comes down to it... the things THEY create to be recyclable... really aren't (unless you're anal-retentive, like me).
