  1. Everyone who's ever been in a car with me in the last decade can attest that I've been saying this for basically as long as halogens have been a thing. My claim is: these lights make the roads LESS safe. The one driver can see "better" at the expense of blinding everyone else. jscros/1469545992085147650

      The problem is that society (at least American society) really only gives a shit about themselves, so this is unlikely to ever change as long as the average driver is 8 feet off the ground and can see a reflection of their own headlights from a piece of glass 6 miles away.
