    Listen: ads do suck. I hate them. But ads or threats of ads are not the only business model. I have paid for services lots of times to get access to more features or even simply to support a company I think is doing the right thing.

      Building a new web where everyone is just trying to extract their couple of bucks as fees for the platform is a terrible idea. It's why Medium is such a shit show place to read content.

        "Blockchain" isn't a magic word that makes everything better. If you can't solve the fundamental issues with monetization, you're just making a worse, slower version of the bad thing that already exists.
