kerrizor Odyssey is a great game. I'll go back to complete more after the main story, but for now I'm taking a break. MK8 is what you expect, nothing really surprising here. Pretty solid franchise entry.

kerrizor LM3 is a good game with mediocre replayability. I personally made sure to fully clear all the collectibles on every floor before I left, so I have no reason to go back to it. Recommend; but I'd try to get it for a discount. Maybe $30.

kerrizor Probably only 15-20% through Metroid Dread, but it's been pretty fun. I'm not experienced with Metroid-style backtracking, so I've gotten really frustrated by getting stuck a few times and not understanding how to progress. Looking up the answer(s) has helped, but has taken

kerrizor some of the joy out of the discovery. Now that I know, I should be able to keep going without looking up the "answers", I hope. Recommend it at this point, but I think I have a lot of game left to play. The downloadable demo is a portion of the first level. Good reference.

kerrizor Can't vouch for any of these, as I haven't played them. Also, as you can tell, I'm going for MOSTLY Nintendo properties, that's just a function of why I bought the console, so my games recs will be really middle of the road.

Ahem.... To clarify in case my partner reads this: it's not true that I "bought" the console. My partner got it for me. I've been thinking about buying one for years, and it was a mental mistake since "I bought a Switch" in my imagination for years. Thanks for the Switch, babe!
