    lezurko Theophite I agree with your underlying premise here, but your argument is an appeal to tradition! If the CNC cabinets are just as high quality, last as long, and are as durable, there's no meaningful reason TO learn the old tool.

      lezurko Theophite In the front end development world, for example, I would make the claim that the new engineer who only knows React is making slower, badly performing sites that frustrate users and add mountains of complexity at every step in the process. This is objectively worse than the old.
