  1. "Join our Discord for support and to give feedback!" Absolutely no. Slack was bad enough, but it had to good sense to have limited features. Discord is like standing in a huge crowd in front of a stage and trying to get the lead singer to switch the song he's singing.

      Discord-as-support/feedback is basically teams saying "You're welcome to provide whatever feedback you'd like but if you want us to even MAYBE listen to you you're going to have to buy your way into the premium channels and even then we'll probably ignore you."

        But seriously though: asymmetry aside, what sort of people ENJOY hanging out in the absolute pandemonium and chaos of Discord? I sign into Discord when I need voice chat and NOTHING else because I value what little sanity I have left.

          Related aside: the fact that Discord has both threads and replies which are not the same thing is CHAOS. Discord chose violence and I'm opting out. Also threads are like... Sub-channels? Very strange UI.
