  1. I've been thinking about paying for YouTube because the ads are SO egregious (they got me, y'all). The thing stopping me is I don't know about the creator economics of it. Do creators get an appropriate share of my subscription that would fully replace ad revenue? Are ads better?

      I'm ONLY interested in paying for YouTube if the creators I watch get as much money from my subscription as they would get from ads that I would watch. And folks, I let all the ads play for their full length to make sure they get that revenue. It's miserable.

        I haven't seen a breakdown of "here's my income from ads versus my income from subscribers compared to watch time" and I need that to pull the trigger. Any resources??
