    claviska As I noted earlier: folks who don't want to use JS are welcome to switch to or continue using another language. No one is stopping them. Why does everyone's pet toolchain have to be in the language?

      claviska A couple of years from now JS will have types and JSX built in and people will be writing articles like "if you compile apps down to this ancient esoteric language ES6, the JIT compiler can actually parse it 400% faster!"
