    DanShappir It depends, Dan. 😉 I would say TYPICALLY I'd reach for async/await first, but sometimes try/catch really gets under my skin. And always single exit.

      DanShappir Or put another way, chaining is very convenient and sometimes easier to read, but complex chains require long mental stacks, and sometimes lead to me getting more cognitive fatigue. The imperative option is frequently easier to reason about with each line in isolation.
