I am constantly terrified that seltzer water will eventually be found to have some deleterious effect on humans, because I drink it as if it is a 100% healthy, guilty free (ignoring canning / water equality issues) alternative to literally any other beverage.

2031 report on seltzer water: "actually it would be preferable if instead of drinking this product this whole time you have been working exclusively to install asbestos insulation into your homes. Less harmful in the long run. The best you can do now is stop immediately."

I don't know HOW it would be harmful considering the ingredients, but I feel like we're surprised all the time by how much poison we have on our food supply.
