  1. Just a quick note if you're big baller and go for the Shure SM7B: as noted on the site, you'll need a gain booster and an interface (I have both of the specific items mentioned on the site).       It seems like the BEST setup for the SM7B is a full control board and a legit amplifier, but the monetary difference between the setup described and a very flexible, very forgiving setup is probably $2000. The Shure SM7B is _GREAT_, but I wasn't ready to go full audio production

        studio and that limits the microphone a little bit.
