claviska I'm between these sentiments. The movies are fun, but they began when their target audience was 8-14, so they're not exactly complex (and the acting of the kids is very uneven). I think you should watch them, but go in with middling expectations and you will hopefully enjoy it.On twitter.com

claviska You might care a lot less if you haven't read the books (similar sentiments about those). Also note that the author is a raging TERF and pretty racist, so nobody should make you feel bad for avoiding it. Depends if you can separate artist from art.Permalink On twitter.com
