Listen: I know this isn't really related but bear with me. I have Nintendo Online, which means I get Mario Kart 8 DLC for free. The last release didn't download, so I went to try to figure out how to get it. Turns out, the way you do it is you go to the store page for the DLC, brianleroux/1536367402270593034

And you click the big button that says "Purchase". It thinks for a second and then it just starts downloading because it's already free for you.

All I'm saying is that maybe Nintendo is pretty fuckin shit at UX AND at the internet, generally. Maybe the good experiences we've had are only because somebody was miraculously there to suggest it be moderately tolerable instead of total shit.

(re: my DLC download... This was not explained anywhere, I just clicked it under the assumption that A) I could back out before actually paying and B) I would get an error about already owning it that would help me figure out how to get it)

(if you don't think this is terrible UX, begone)
