    DanielNill I assume you mean ==, per Appendix B of The Good Parts. He does say that. Crockford is also wrong about a lot of the rest of JavaScript, too. Regardless, I don't put any value in hero worship and thought following. The common idea that == is "bad" is wrong.

      DanielNill Regardless, the point is not "health" per se but a seeming inability for those who only use === to allow others to use ==. I have seen === users (users of types) demand typing everywhere. No one else is under any obligation to type their systems for the type user.

        DanielNill Also, were the Surgeon General to recommend veganism, it might carry less weight if the y thought that all food was awful and should never have existed, and veganism was the only way to carry on living while also having to consume this awful, terribly designed "food"
